Andy Warhol is one of my favorite "Pop" artist and I am constantly looking for new ways to re-imagine weddings. I was also looking for a couple that wouldn't mind a little out of the box colorization on their faces.  And if there was any couple out there who are a ready to take color to the next level Rick and Sarah were the ones. 

 

I love how this turned out and can't wait to see this printed poster size on a wall.

April showers always bring May flowers.  But, an April wedding is always a challenge when it comes to the weather.  However, Stacy & Mitchell’s love out shined this cool cloudy day.  As for taking pictures clouds are always welcome.  What most people don’t know is that clouds defuse the light and allow the shadows to soften.  Although I am a strong believer in controlling the light with flash it is hard not to overlook the blessing of natural light diffusion. 

 

So if you find yourself looking outside at your wedding and the clouds are out remember that the pictures will turn out even better.  Also if it is a little chilly people tend to stand a little closer together.  If you would like to view all of Stacy and Mitchell’s photos please type 042812 in the search bar.
